Hiroshima, based in Honshu Island of Japan , destroyed by an atom bomb during World War II in 1945. Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park honours the event and ruins of Genbaku Dome standing near ground zero.. Destroyed monuments of Hiroshima's significant value of historical heritage such as Hiroshima Castle and Shukkeien Garden, were reconstructed.
