Ghibli Museum

The name “Ghibli” derived from the Italian word called desert wind (Ghibli).

It is the animation and art museum and one of Japan's most famous animation studios. It has produced many films such as My Neighbor Totoro, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away with worldwide distribution located at Mitaka, outside of central Tokyo.

The Ghibli Museum is a multi-storied hall full of twists, small doors, winding staircases, and a rooftop garden. There are main and small hall, the main hall demonstrates the magic of animation, while the small hall exhibits throughout the building.
